Morine Bakery · Hyderabad · Since 1971

Sweet moments are saved as memories.

Two counters. Nanal Nagar in Mehdipatnam, and Gandipet Road in Narsingi. A family bakery, still the size of a shop you can walk into.

Mr. Moosa Khan opened Morine in 1971 with one aim: the name should be one that a Hyderabad house asks for. That aim is still the size of the bakery. Here is who kept the counter, and what they kept the same.

The bakery passed to his son. Under that care, Mr. Parvez Khan took the brand further, until Morine was a registered name and a professionally run shop. The people at the bench have been with the bakery for almost 35 years. The ovens are newer than the recipes they serve. Mr. Parvez Khan brought the machinery from Taiwan. The line they use for the result is the old one: baked like home.

  1. 1971

    Moosa Khan sets the aim

He starts Morine Bakery so the name will be known in Hyderabad homes. A household name, earned by people who walk in and ask for it again.

  2. The next hand

A son keeps it. Parvez Khan builds on it.

The baton passes to Moosa Khan’s son. Mr. Parvez Khan, in that guardianship, takes Morine to the next level: a registered brand, looked after as a professional bakery, with his own attention on the name. Quality, service, and taste are the three words the bakery uses for that work.

  3. The bench

Thirty-five years in the same room

Master bakers have stayed with Morine for almost 35 years. The shop is kept hygienic. The material is the best they will put in a tin or a loaf. The machinery is the modern part: brought from Taiwan, so the bake can stay steady. What they say about the taste does not update. Baked like home.

  4. Today

    Two shops, one counter habit

#12-2-719/1, Nanal Nagar, Mehdipatnam. And #131/P, Gandipet Road, Narsingi. Cakes, pastries, biscuit packs, breads, and the snacks at the front. The shop’s own banner puts the standard in four words: quality that’s priceless.
